¡Hola! We've been thrilled to see so many new faces joining the Taiyari Familia lately. ¡Bienvenidos! This feels like the perfect time to reintroduce ourselves and share some fun facts about us:

🇲🇽🇳🇱Tortilleria Taiyari proudly stands as the first Authentic Mexican Tortilleria and molino in the Netherlands, crafting fresh corn tortillas from scratch using the ancient nixtamalization process.
📜Our story began in 2016 when our founder, Karla Plancarte, missing the flavors of home, embarked on an entrepreneurial journey to bring the taste of Mexico to the Netherlands. She brought a traditional molino and a tortilla machine (that we named “Vicky”) all the way from Mexico.
💗 The name "Taiyari" holds a special place in our hearts, coming from the Huichol language and meaning "our heart." It represents the love and respect we have for Mexico, its cuisine, and its people.
🌽 We're all about quality, sourcing only non-GMO corn from sustainable farmers in Mexico and certified organic ones in The Netherlands.
💃 Our (growing) team is mostly Latino, so you can bet it's always a fiesta at the factory!
🌮 Our mission? To share the beauty of Mexican gastronomy with the world and bring people together through deliciously authentic Mexican food.
