In the Netherlands, tortillas are often called "taco's," which can get a little confusing! 🌮 So, here’s a quick and tasty explainer:

Tortilla (pronounced tor-tee-ya):
-The soft, round flatbread made from corn or flour that acts as the "container" for all kinds of delicious fillings.
-Tortillas are also used for dishes like enchiladas, tostadas, and quesadillas—so versatile and SO good!

Taco:
- A dish that consists of a tortilla filled with various ingredients, such as meat, veggies, salsa, cilantro and more! 😋
- Tacos can be made with either soft tortillas or crispy ones that have been fried. (In this case, they’re called flautas when rolled and tacos dorados when folded. We’ll come back to this in another post! 😜)
